Jack Wong began piano studies at the age of five and the violin at the age of eight.  He graduated at the Royal Academy of Music with a first class honours bachelor degree in Violin Performance and is now studying at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama on the Opera Repetiteur course with a full scholarship. 

Jack is currently the resident music scholar of the Robert Anderson Research Charitable Trust.  He is the artistic director and conductor of Hornton Chamber Orchestra, an ensemble he founded in 2015 with students from London conservatoires.

Most notable achievements include third prize winner in the International Concerto Competition – debut at the Berlin Philharmonic Hall conducting category and gave his Berlin debut with Eurasia Chamber Orchestra at the French Cathedral. 

He is also the third prize winner of the Pancho Vladigerov International Violin Competition.  Jack has also taken part in the Chipping Campden International Music Festival for two consecutive years and performs with the London Symphony Orchestra String Academy, as well as the International Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival Orchestra Academy in Germany.
